The faux fur is comfortable to lay on and is plush enough to cushion the joints. I will love using this for camping too, a great way to keep warm by using the battery pack. Being able to wash it is also a huge plus because I have pets that like cozy things, too.

In order to turn it on, you use the small button. I love that it lights up to let you know that it's on. They have 3 different power levels. Even at the highest setting, it does take a few minutes to heat up, but that's fine.
